Default low fat biscuit mix

Hi All

I'm looking for a lowfat/reduced fat biscuit mix recipe. Can't find the reduced-fat Bisquit mix in my city so I need to make up a batch of the equivilent.
Thanks in advance for any help

I have been looking all over for it as well. I wonder if it isn't available in Canada? Hopefully someone will see this request.

I've tried this one and it works just so-so. I didn't even try to figure out the points on it -- sorry.

Low-Fat Biscuit Mix

6 1/2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups nonfat dry milk powder
1 cup cornstarch
2 tablespoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
3 teaspoons salt

Mix everything together well. Cover tightly and store.

Use water, buttermilk or skim milk to moisten.

I calculated this out using Splenda instead of sugar
for 12 biscuits POINTS-6
18 biscuits POINTS -4
for 24 biscuits POINTS -3

Since you use two cups of flour to make 12 biscuits, the recipe above should make about 42 biscuits.

Here's one I found at the RecipeZaar board that is getting rave reviews.

Ingredients

* 4 cups white flour
* 4 cups wheat flour
* 1/2 cup natural bran or wheat germ
* 2 tablespoons baking powder
* 1 tablespoon salt
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 2 teaspoons cream of tartar

Directions
Mix all ingredients very well.
For every 2 cups mix used add 1/2 cup fat free mayo. NOTE: this may replaces the usual shortening.
Yes they say you can lose the mayo for applesauce, prunes, pureed squash or whatever you prefer.
This recipe may be made with all wheat flour or any combination.
Use like Bisquick.
