Egyptian Egg- 2 pts or 3 pts, you choose! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are soooo many variations to this. You can pick and choose how you want to create it based on your POINTS allowance. This is how I make it. 2 slices of wonder LITE wheat bread (40 calories per slice)- 1 POINT 1 slice of Kraft American 2% cheese (halved)- 2 POINTS I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, butter spray. 5 sprays on each side of the toast. I count this as 1 POINT even though the spray is 0 calories, 0 Fat, 0 Fiber per serving. 1 cup of eggbeaters eggs (divided)- 0 POINTS (or use real eggs, again your choice based on POINTS allowance) Use any kind of seasonings you want (salt, pepper, spices, etc) TO MAKE: butter each piece of bread (both sides) put on skillet to brown/toast apply seasonings to the first side flip the toast and apply seasonings to the other side use a cookie cutter or glass to cut a hole in the center of the toast pour 1/2 the cup of egg beaters into the hole of one toast and the other half of the eggbeaters into the other toast hole. Let it cook until no longer runny (kind of hard to judge with eggbeaters). Flip the toast to cook the other side. It is much easier with real eggs to flip it. Eggbeaters tends to run out but it will still work, it just may not have the "presentation" Take the sliced cheese and half it. Put one half on one toast and the other half on the other toast. Let it get to a good melt. Use round left over bread as toast as well. VERRRRRY yummy and low in POINTS. Try different variations and let me know how it goes.
