Gooey Cinnamon Rolls -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gooey Cinnamon Rolls Serves: 10 1 Point per Roll 1 (7.5 ounce) can Pillsbury refrigerated buttermilk biscuits 1/4 Cup Pourable Splenda 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 40 Miniature Marshmallows Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray 10 wells of a 12-hole muffin pan with butter flavored cooking spray. Separate biscuits and flatten each into a 4 inch circle. In a small bowl combine Splenda and cinnamon. Dip each biscuit into the cinnamon/Splenda mixture. Place 4 marshmallows in the center of each biscuit. Bring edges up to form balls. Place each in a prepared muffin well, seam side down. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove rolls from pan immediately and cool slightly on a wire rack. Note: The marshmallows inside make these rolls taste almost like the real thing except they won't make your fingers all sticky, and these are point friendly. stellatj Zonie Posts: 233 (6/13/02 5:10 pm) Reply ezSupporter Re: Gooey Cinnamon Rolls -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These look great thank you i will try them this weekend Stella 220/143.5/146 rhiannon828 Zonie Posts: 232 (6/13/02 6:44 pm) Reply ezSupporter Re: Gooey Cinnamon Rolls -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These sound great. I got this recipe from another website, and I wonder if they are 1 point if you use low-fat Pillsbury biscuits. Did you count the regular? rhiannon828 Zonie Posts: 233 (6/14/02 5:26 am) Reply ezSupporter Re: Gooey Cinnamon Rolls -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MasterCook does not have regular buttermilk biscuits (only Grands) nor the reduced fat biscuits in its database. I've searched a little online but I give up for now. If anyone has the nutrition info, send me an e-mail (via my profile) with all of the nutrition info and I'll refigure the points on this recipe. The first time, I used only 4 marshmallows; the second time I used 6 marshmallows per biscuit and added some Butter Buds to the SPLENDA/cinnamon mixture to give them a more buttery flavor. Thank you, thank you, thank you for such a wonderfully delicious recipe. These rolls will become a staple at my house! For most canned biscuits that I've seen, the serving size is 2 biscuits not one - it also sounds like you might not have the reduced fat kind, so that would be 2 rolls for 3 points total. Hope that makes sense. Monica SuzieQ51 Zonie Posts: 2 (9/23/03 10:59 pm) Reply gooey cinnamon rolls....... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks Monica for replying.......I doubled check the package of biscuits I bought......they were Buttermilk Biscuits.....flaky layers......serving size was 1 biscuits......Calories.....110.......Total fat grams......5 and Dietary Fiber.......0.....soooooo I guess mine were worth 3 points instead of 1...... .......but today I bought me some different biscuits......LiteFluff Biscuits......Homestyle.......Serving size.......2.....Calories 100......Total fat......1.5 g.....Fiber 1 g......so these would be 2 points for 2 rolls .....correct???.....thanks Suzie chuggymo Zonie Posts: 13 (9/24/03 5:21 am) Reply Re: gooey cinnamon rolls....... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have a little desktop calculator - and for 100 cal 1.5 fat and 1 fiber it comes out to 1.9 points ~ so, yup, you should count it as 2 points. I also found this recipe which said 1 point. So, is it really 2 points unless you find a lighter biscut, then it would be 1 point?

I have made these several times since finding them on the AimeesAdventures website, and they are DELICIOUS!
My problem is keeping them long enough to be able to eat them - the kids INHALE them!

Making 4 dozen of these to take to Church's Easter b'fast tomorrow! I had to try one of course and they are yummy!
I am calling them "Inside out" cinnamon rolls; since on the outside they just look like a biscuit...and putting a sign on the container that says WW Friendly 1 pt per roll :-) |

These sound yummy, I will have to try these.
I haven't seen the liquid splenda either so will have to look for that.

I made them with Equal several years ago & they were really good too. We have dinners at church all the time & it is hard to find things that are diet friendly. I love it when people make & take the time to label WW friendly foods. I just wanted to add a note about taking foods containing artificial sweetener to buffet meals.
You may want to consider adding "contains (insert name of sweetener)" on the little card containing the point information. Some people may have allergies to certain brands. I know that if I eat any Splenda it triggers the onset of a horrific migraine within 10 minutes, but I can eat anything with Equal. I bet I'm not the only one.

I don't have the pourable Splenda. Is the powdered kind translated into the same measurement?

Holy cow these sound delicious!! I will have to make these this weekend...they sound sooo good! (I think I'll have my 2 year old help me, since she loves to help Mommy cook) ![]() When you dip in the splenda/cinnamon mixture (am I assuming correctly that it's the granulated kind?), the dipped side is the inside, right?

Thanks for sharing this recipe. I really liked them, they were quick and easy and I'm wondering how they would keep in the freezer. I will definitely be making these again.

Just a tip - I dipped both sides in the splenda/cinnamon mixture, since it is no points. Really, really good!!

These are awesome! I'm making another batch this weekend!
Question...they were kinda "hollow" inside...is that how yours turned out? Or did I do something wrong? Thanks for the recipe! Dawn Marie |
