New Jillian Michael product

Ok, here's an interesting question. While at the endless line at the pharmacy today I couldn't help but notice the Jillian Michael new weight loss diet pill....which on the back has a warning about the xendrine ( I think that's what it was) and how it is basically like speed. So on the BL show she promotes eating healthy and working out but in IRL she's sponsoring weight loss pills?? Sometimes I wonder if they even know what they are endorsing or if it's just about the money!

I saw the product in a magazine this week & thought the same thing. The ad talked about lack of will power & slow results on the scale being why most people give up so quickly. We hear about so many health issues issues related to weight loss pills. It seems irresponsible to take them, much less endorse them.

Hard work & good nutrition is the healthiest way to go.

I also saw an ad for it in a magazine. I was really surprised that she was endorsing a diet pill. She seems to be so big on diet and exercise being the key. I was a bit disappointed.

I've not seen it, but I'm SHOCKED! I've listened to her podcasts for 2 years and she's moved more and more towards nutritious eating and natural, organic products!

I almost wonder if its one of those things that someone is using her image, but shes not really endorsing it. Like recently Oprah and Dr. Oz sued a bunch of different people for using their names on products and saying that they endorsed them, when the didn't.

Maybe I'm just hopeful that she wouldn't really endorse a product like that, but its happened before.

Never mind, I take my last post back - I went to her website and they were on there.

I am very dissappointed in her promoting such a product when on the show she's always screaming about how all you need is exercise and diet.

Anything for a dollar - such a shame.

Don't shoot me, but I have never cared for her persona. She comes across as unyielding and too strict for me. And now to hear this? She likes the money.

I'm with you Squishy. You took the words right out of my mouth! I never liked Dr. Phil for that reason either. I don't like people "in my face". All they do is get my blood pressure rising.

I'd also like to ad, this is so dissappointing and cannot be good publicity for the Biggest Loser, KWIM?
