Default Starting again...for the umpteenth time...

Hi everyone. This is deja vu for me...but this time I NEED to do it. I have 40 pounds to lose and really would like to get it gone by summer of 2010. I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for lunches and snacks to bring to work..this seems to be my biggest downfall. Thanks

Lunches are the easiest for me.

Yogurt, you can slice fruit and use it as a dip
Salad w/ balsalmic vinegar. Spice them up with some almond slivers or cranraisons
Arnold Select thin sandwiches. Today I had a laughing cow cheese spread w/ some turkey on it.
Single serving packs of pretzels
Fruit (apples, pears, bananas, grapes)
Cottage cheese w/ chives
Progresso veggie soups
veggie burgers on arnold selects
Ryvita or Wasa crackers w/ low fat cheese slices

Joining in to add to Beths' great list.

1 Cup grapes - 1 pt.
mini bag of orvilees Smart pocorn - 1.5 pts and a diet soda for when I'm stuck at the computer, bored, and VERY munchy.

A frozen dinner - max 5 points
My regular is a boca original 1pt burger/sandwich thin with banana peppers, dijonaise and shredded lettuce with a whole can of 0pt. Progresso soup (3 pts total)

I have pretzels too and limit myself to a 1pt serving I usually count out a serving and then eat one from the bag. It's the rebellious nature in me!
GUM or cinnamon hard candy also help on days I'm stuck in my office.

Having all this stocked, gets me through my day and keeps me from CAVING with all the goodies in the breakroom across from my office and from the huge CANDY dish I walk past in the reception area!

You can DO it Shaleen! One day at a time! Sometimes I blow it...then the next day I determine to walk by that candy dish and ignore it. More and more I resist! Any easier??? Well...no not really (I LOVE chocolate) but I've got a plan and have been sticking to it since Jan 09!

I usually take string cheese, a piece of fruit, maybe a small package of goldfish, yogurt, a sandwich (4 pts MAX), etc. NOT all at the same time...LOL but my points are higher for the day (I get 26) so I try to keep it under 7 per meal, then that leaves some room for a snack later in the evening. You CAN do this!! We are pulling for you!
