How do I add a pic to my profile?

I wanted to try to add a pic by my name, how do I do that?

Only mods and administrators can have their pictures added to the top of their signatures, by their names. You can add a picture as part of your signature below where your ticker currently is. There are directions on how to do that as a sticky thread at the top of this forum. You can post in this Practice forum to see how it looks and to get help on resizing your signature if it's too big. Please take a look at Guideline #10 for the message boards so you know you are in compliance with the signature rules. Signatures can only be of certain height and width.

Hi Sara. Welcome to the boards.

Dotti and Al host the message board software on their own server using their own bandwidth, which is very expensive. The basic board uses a lot of bandwidth all by itself. In order for everyone to have an avatar at the top of their posts, members would have to upload their images for Dotti and Al to host which would be very costly. As a result, only the Administrators and Moderators have avatars next to their usernames. Any other members may add an avatar to their signature.
